He is one of the most professional & experienced announcers in the business today. Simply put, he is the best at what he does, and we sure appreciate all his help!

Trish Thomas

PR / Marketing / Office Staff

A 3rd generation rodeo competitor from the State of Nevada, Trish began competing in the rodeo arena at the age of 5.  She was one of the top breakaway ropers and goat tiers in Nevada High School Rodeo competition. Trish attended UNLV where she was a college rodeo stand-out. Her sister Jacque Halterman, was the barrel racer of the family, her brother Scott Halterman was a PRCA bull rider, and Trish was the roper. Trish has 2 daughters that compete in all events in NLBRA (National Little Britches Rodeo Assoc.). Chelsea, a high school freshman in Utah, ranked 6th in breakaway & 8th in goat tying at the 2008 NLBRA National Finals.

Trish's sister Jacque was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 33. At that same time, she found out she was pregnant. The doctors told her she could not have treatment until after the baby was born, which gave her a small chance of survival. Soon after her daughter was born, Jacque began treatment and was in remission for 3 years. The cancer returned, and after a double mastectomy, she was well again for another 3 years. Unfortunately, at the age of 42, Jacque passed away. She was not only a big sister, but was Trish's best friend...

Every Sunday, Trish wears pink in honor of Jacque & all of the other women
who have lost the battle with breast cancer.
The R2R Events Staff supports Trish in her remembrance,
and chooses to do the same during ALL Sunday events...

The Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund
in providing professional rodeo athletes a place to turn when faced with      a serious injury by providing financial relief to the competitor and family.

Formed in 1989, Justin Boot Company partnered with the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and the Women's Professional Rodeo Assocaiation (WPRA) providing assistance to athletes in a number of other associations including the Professional Bull Riders (PBR).

In 2009, Roughstock2Roping was able to donate $2,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation with proceeds from the SHOWCASE Roping.
We sure appreciate all of the ropers who made this possible!
